When you install KidStarter for your kids, they will have their own Windows environment filled with all of their favourite websites and programs.

When you start your computer, your kids will have their own account where everything is one easy click away. This environment empowers young children by giving them control and letting them explore and learn. And since you approve all of the content for your children, you can be sure that your kids are safe and secure.

KidStarter's Web Browser keeps your kids Safe

With KidStarter, you choose the sites you want your kids to visit. This means that you don’t have to worry about them accidentally clicking on ads or viewing content they shouldn’t. And KidStarter gives your children a large, simple icon for each of their favourite sites, so you don’t have to spend all your time entering web addresses for your kids.

KidStarter has Time Limits for your Kids!

KidStarter has built-in timers that you can use to control how much time your kids spend on the computer each day. You can set different limits for each day of the week and also for multiple children.

Once your kids near their limit, KidStarter will notify your kids they are almost done meaning that you don’t have to constantly be the heavy! KidStarter will automatically shut down when daily limits are reached.

KidStarter keeps your PC safe from Accidents!

When KidStarter installs, it creates a separate Windows user for your children. This means that your kids can only access the content that you approve for them. Your children will not be able to access any of your files or programs, so you don’t have to worry about your kids accessing your files or deleting your big presentation. When your computer starts, you will see your existing account where you can access all of your content just like before, and your kids will have a simple icon for KidStarter.

KidStarter has Audio Prompts for younger kids!

In order to help kids of all ages, KidStarter comes with audio prompts that can help children that are still learning to read. Everytime a question pops-up or input is required, KidStarter will help your kids learn. This means that even the youngest kids can navigate KidStarter on their own to enjoy their favourite programs and websites. These audio prompts can be turned on and off at any time.

KidStarter comes with a series of skins so that you can choose the design that your kids like best. We have environments optimized for boys and girls and will be soon adding a host of new designs.
